Making a difference
Bodegas Vega de Tera is the result of a humble dream that arise in the noble region of Castilla and León, more concretely in a small village of Zamora, located on the Tera river bank.
Our twenty-five vineyard hectares are located under cover of the Camino de Santiago (AKA the Way of St. James); with clayey ground, they are worked ecologically since the beginning of the winery by our enviable human team. Five red grape varieties grow in them (Tinta de Toro, Prieto Picudo, Tempranillo, Syrah and Merlot) and one white grape (Verdejo).
Since ancient times, wine and art go hand-in-hand in this region along the pilgrimage route. And this is why our family wants to transmit the identity and heritage of this land into our wines.
